Teachings, Retreats & Workshops
Regular teachings, retreats, and workshops are offered by Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi and members of the adjunct faculty. These programs are designed to gain deeper insight into the vastness of Buddhist learning. Proceeds from the retreats support the humanitarian activities of the Prajnopaya Foundation. Please view our calendar for events in Massachusetts, Colorado, and other locations worldwide. Frequently asked questions and answers about retreats sponsored by Prajnopaya may be found here.
Cyber Teachings Each Thursday evening, Venerable Tenzin teaches his students via the World Wide Web. Bodhimarga, our teaching affiliate in Colorado, facilitates this program and links satellite hosts all over the world. Please view Bodhimarga’s web site for more information, or to find your local cyber sangha.
Dharma Study Group Students of Venerable Tenzin in the Boston area gather twice a month for the formal study of Buddhist texts. In this manner, students have the opportunity to interact and deepen their study of Buddha-dharma and support each other in their spiritual endeavor. We are currently studying The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lam rim chen mo) by Tsong Kha Pa, meeting every month in Cambridge (MIT) and Carlisle, Massachusetts. Study groups are also hosted in Colorado. Please call 413-24UPAYA to learn more.
Buddhist Celebrations Prajnopaya celebrates several Buddhist holidays with gatherings and ceremonies that are open to all. Holiday celebrations appear on our calendar. |
